In our quest to find sustainable environmentally friendly products we have worked with and tested numerous products. It is of course not possible to ever find a single product which is suitable in every scenario, nevertheless, in conjunction with the Alltec Network we now have Bio-Cleaner.
The brain child of Dr Harley Farmer an Australian born scientist Bio-cleaner goes beyond the other ‘green’ products currently on the market. Bio-Cleaner is derived from natural plant oils and is suitable for cleaning of most textiles surfaces in the home. The reason I say that it is suitable for cleaning most textiles is that there are still some fabrics being produced which cannot be cleaned with water either because water affects the pile or the colours are not fast and will bleed.
Bio-Cleaner is a neutral pH product and is safe for use on wool, synthetic and anti-stain protected carpets. That means it does not contain either acids or strong alkalis. Bio-Cleaner has been scientifically tested to help prevent bacteria growth in tough European standards test (EN1276). It can in fact also be used as an antimicrobial it is also effective against many viruses including Novovirus, while being safe for use around young children and the elderly.

Where the use of hot water spray extraction is not suitable we solve the problem by offering alternative solutions either utilising low moisture cleaning or where required the use of dry granules. Wherever possible these are soap and detergent free, odour free and are completely non toxic cleaning products.
